I was thrilled to have finally completed the Ikea play kitchen (yes! me! I did it all by myself! unreal!) and I wanted a picture with the kitchen in it somehow, to commemorate the feeling. Luckily, I didn’t have to wait long – Mack loves that thing like a mouse loves fresh cloth. He went right over. The light was right. Angels smiled and the unicorn farted a big ole’ rainbow 🙂

I was in my rocking chair eating popcorn and these hooligans were playing in the propane space for the grill. They set it all up, carefully putting the “baby” in between, Mack’s beloved panda bear next to him. They set off, both bellowing their “choo choo!!”s. I ran for the camera as fast as my broken foot would allow me.

I was set to photograph Moxie outside and took many photos that I liked of her. Then we came back inside and saw Mack sleeping on the floor and I jumped at the chance of capturing his adorable sleeping self.
Later though, I was muddling through the photos of Moxie and they were all *really* weird – I finally figured out that it has to do with RAW image files and my inability to process them correctly right now. Since I had this one in jpeg and not just RAW, I stuck with this and saved the ones with Moxie for later.

We were all out playing in the trees, smelling the flowers and hanging out with the chickens. Mack was having fun with Moxie and Micah before he decided he had enough and just plunked himself down with his panda bear and meditated. The chickens seemed concerned and came on over to see if he was okay.
