4/365: Oops

Meriah Nichols Lost Coast April 2015-0208-2


I’m not sure if this photo should be called “oops” or “damn, Mommy caught me”. Actually, the latter is way more accurate.

I walked in and Moxie was there, happily dropping all of our freshly-laid eggs (by our very own chickens) onto the floor. I think she liked the crunchy sound it made as it hit the ground, and the great, glorified mess of the yolk.


Meriah Nichols is teacher and artist who lives in a yurt off the grid. She is deaf, has 3 kids (one with Down syndrome) and a lot of chickens. She writes about travel, disability, and getting dishes done. She likes her tea Earl Grey and hot.
