I really wanted to get this plant clearly, with the background blurred and capture the gorgeous light. I struggled with the focus quiet a bit – when I got the camera to focus on the plant by pressing the shutter halfway and focusing, it would lose it and re-shift when I pressed the shutter all the way, and focus on a fern. I was able to get it focused on what I wanted by moving back – I was too close. But the photo was clearly begging for a tripod.
