Building (a photo essay)

I left you last with this post on the deck. My brother and his guys were hauling up wood and building supplies over the pot-hole ridden roads of winter and somehow constructing the deck in between bouts of pouring rain.

The deck is DONE! All done. And now the guest house/bathhouse/laundry room is being built right above it. The wood and building supplies are now on the brand-spanking new deck, so I can’t get any photos of the deck in and of itself for you.

But that’s okay, right! I have a lot of other photos to show you now of the emerging house. Here we go:

  • It is looking amazing! You won’t know yourselves once you have all that new space. Nothing better too than kids being there to watch the process – the appreciation of what they have gained will be heightened, knowing what went into building it all. Have you bought the property or are the owners supplying the money for the renovations? Sorry, I have missed some posts so you may have spoken of it. your piece of land looks like heaven on earth! Magical!

I'm opinionated, friendly & chatty... I hope you are, too
