Pan Am Overland – The Pan-American Highway

We sold almost everything we owned, worked for 2 years to buy and outfit a camper, quit our jobs and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area and headed south.

Our goal was to drive from SF to Chile, and figure out where we could establish our “forever home” – and start an Inn that would be staffed by people with disabilities.

Well, we got as far as Mexico. My brother emailed us there, right after we hit a big money crunch and asked us to come up north to Humboldt and farm with him.

Everything lined up – we turned around and came north.

These are the stories of our preparation for the Pan Am Overland, and as far as we got.
