Question of the Week from the Forum:

What do you think of the "Special Books by Special Kids" guy?

I don’t have a disability and neither do my children. However, I’m trying to be an ally and to teach my kids to be allies. So what often happens is that I see things like this site and this guy and something makes my eyebrow rise. I can’t figure out how I feel about the mission or the guy behind the mission. On one hand, he’s modeling positive, respectful interactions with disabled kids. On the other hand, is he? I really don’t know and can’t figure it out myself.

I’m excited to hear what you all think. (L)
