Weight Loss Update

I’ve been at this for months now. Safer to say that I’ve been trying to lose weight for a year, but I’ve been trying in a hard-core way since June.  #slimkitty4thewin!

I worked my way through the Standard Process Detox thing, then I moved on over to BeachBody Land. I tried the T25 Workout Regime DVD first (- which is really great for deaf folk,  by the way – the captions are excellent), and then moved onto Shakeology and the 21 Day Fix.

Whew.

BeachBody this, BeachBody that.

BeachBody be EXPENSIVE.

I quit BeachBody for that reason – it’s just too much money – with the Coach discount, a box of the shake powder is about $100; without the discount it’s about $130. I just can’t swing that.

But I think the stuff works. No, I don’t just “think” it; I know it – I’ve lost 30 lbs now – which places under 200lbs for the first time in years.

WOOOOOO-HOOO! (*high fives all around*)

So yeah, I definitely know it works. I think it’s worth saving and plunking cash down for if you are desperate and really want something that you KNOW is going to do the job. Do it. Get the 21 Day Fix, get shakeology and follow the plan and do what they say to do and YOU. WILL. LOSE. WEIGHT.

I went through periods where I was just…unmotivated and feeling like I’ve done a good job in being consistent about this, but will I ever get back to a size that I’m comfortable with? It just makes me weary after a while, you know? So I went and bought a pair of pants that I really like but are a little too small for me.

Motivation.

Yeah, my sleek black bell-bottomed US size 14 jeans: MOTIVATION.

We’re hitting the road in about 2 weeks. Or rather, this time next month, we’ll be on the road. I’m going to be wearing those jeans regardless of how well they fit or how large my muffin top may be: MOTIVATION.

I’m entering my THIRD ROUND of the 21 Day Fix soon and I’m amping the exercise portion of it up. You can choose to do two of the segments in a day – they have it all laid out – well, my MOTIVATION dictates that I get busy.

://

sort of related – I need to put this out there in case any of you actually want to buy a t-shirt that I made? I’m only selling them until the end of October (- we’re leaving, remember). They are ALL American Apparel, lots of sizes and colors to choose from. I spent a couple of days on woocommerce and have it basically together.

$15. That’s cheap.

I’ll have some other designs out really soon – one cool robot one by Micah! And another one that people my age might find hilarious.

Something to look forward to and keeps me busy.

But only two weeks for YOU to order if you want, so don’t wait! The link is HERE
