Mom Visits

My Mom came to visit us for a week. In Cancun. Because, you know, since she’s an organic crunchy granola hippie, a bona-fide prism-carrying energy medicine healer, and devout (non-drinking) Baha’i ,Cancun is totally her scene!

In real-time news of our world, I’m going back to the podiatrist tomorrow to see if the swelling has gone down.

And I built this basic site – A Day in the Life of Down syndrome – it’s in preparation for World Down syndrome Day (3/21) with the hope that people with Down syndrome and allies for Down syndrome (friends, family) will share stories about a typical day in the life of a person with Down syndrome. The site is not done – and I would really appreciate feedback to make it more accessible, easily navigable, etc.

I also wanted to thank you guys for your patience with me in trying to swap out themes for this site. It’s not done yet, but those of you who wrote and gave me feedback, THANK YOU! I really appreciate your letting me know when something on this site works for you or does not work. Don’t like the comment system or the display and tell me? Thank you!
