It’s an unfortunate fact that I lived in Asia for 10 years, my daughter is one quarter Vietnamese and I can’t make rice well. It’s also an unfortunate fact that (however badly I do it) rice takes a long while to cook. So I was pretty psyched about Minute Rice’s Ready to Serve! little instant rice cups.
Things I liked:
- it’s totally portable
- it comes in many varieties including brown rice, brown and wild rice, multi grain, new Jasmine rice, and lots of different rice mixes
- it’s ready in a minute (if you have a microwave)
- it tastes good
- it’s not expensive
- it’s not full of fake ingredients (for the brown & wild rice that we tried, it was just water, whole grain brown rice, wild rice, soybean oil, salt, soy lecithin)
- it’s super easy to stock up on (how come I never saw this before?)
We scarfed down that Minute Rice + steamed Chinese broccoli in a few minutes flat.
Easy-peasy to make, totally nutritious
and most importantly
it makes my girl smile
Rice, Minute rice
I love you so
Your deliciousness and ease of use makes me glow
Rice, Minute rice
I love you so
ps. you also make me look like a “together” mom and I love that. Thank you. Just.. thank you!
