[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This post is about an awesome TED talk that Rebecca Cokley gave about the ADA Generation.
It’s based on the YouTube video of her TED talk. I was just going to post it on my Facebook page, but after watching it, I realized that I wanted to keep this video circulating, so it really needed a blog post specifically about it.
The ADA Generation by Rebecca Cokley
The concept of an “ADA Generation” was completely new to me, but I get what she is talking about: young people nowadays have never known anything except the ADA, and the rights contained in them.
A seasoned speaker and disability rights advocate, Rebecca Cokley conveys her points clearly. This video is a succinct, tight, powerful short video on why the ADA is so important, what it does for us, how it actually came to be, and what we need to do at this point in time.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmDk6ZE3npY” align=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]So.. what’d you think?
I’d love to talk about this with you[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
