[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This is a wordpress dashboard tutorial. This wordpress dashboard tutorial is meant to be followed along by you – it is a captioned screencast covering the basics of your wordpress dashboard, which means that I have a recording below in which I walk you through understanding your WordPress dashboard.

Questions like, “what’s on my dashboard?” “where are my blog posts?” “what do those numbers on the side mean?” and more will be covered in the video below.

You need to have your WordPress installed and your site open to make the most of this – to do, just log in to your wordpress dashboard.

How to log in to your wordpress dashboard:

– go to:

www.YOURSITENAME.COM/wp-admin

In the case of the site we are using for this tutorial, it’s www.danainourhearts.com/wp-admin

Once you are there, your screen should look something like this:[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_custom_heading text=”1.” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:44|text_align:left|color:%2300b8dd” google_fonts=”font_family:Trade%20Winds%3Aregular|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_single_image image=”42001″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_custom_heading text=”2. ” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:44|text_align:left|color:%2300b8dd” google_fonts=”font_family:Trade%20Winds%3Aregular|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_single_image image=”42000″ img_size=”large” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_message]I’m saying to not login through jetpack because I think that leads you around confusing rabbit holes in the beginning.

Sticking with your username and password keeps it simple.[/vc_message][vc_column_text]Now that you have login in to your site, let’s start the tutorial![/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][vc_custom_heading text=”The Tutorial:” font_container=”tag:h2|font_size:44|text_align:left|color:%2300b8dd” google_fonts=”font_family:Trade%20Winds%3Aregular|font_style:400%20regular%3A400%3Anormal”][vc_video link=”https://youtu.be/2LjDBS-sa0U” align=”center”][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]I hope that made sense! Remember to ask questions, write, let me know what’s working.
